Postdoctoral Scholar: Forest Disturbance and Landscape Ecology

The Harvey Lab in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences at the University of Washington is searching for a full-time (100% FTE) post-doctoral researcher with topical expertise in forest ecology, disturbance ecology, and landscape ecology, and methodological expertise in harmonizing distinct databases (e.g., forest inventory, remote sensing, land cover), GIS, and R-based (or similar) data analysis.

The Watershed Research and Training Center is seeking a Senior Forester to “provide broad support to various projects within the scope of the Watershed Center’s Forestry and Fuels Program with a focus on planning and administering complex forestry and hazardous fuels reduction projects on public and private lands including prioritization, unit delineation, environmental compliance (NEPA, CEQA, CA Forest Practice Act), layout and implementation support.”
