AFE welcomes all people who are practitioners and scientists in the field of fire ecology. 

The Association for Fire Ecology is committed to advancing fire ecology knowledge, management application, and informing policy and management decisions. We recognize that our organization is stronger and better equipped to face the wildland fire issues of the future when we listen to, respect, and include a wide range of perspectives, experiences, and ideas.
