Wildfire Risk Specialist

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) - Fire and Resource Assessment Program (FRAP) is currently looking to fill the position of Wildfire Risk Specialist (Senior Environmental Scientist – Specialist). The primary role of the job is to lead and coordinate projects and activities related to the evaluation of wildfire hazard and risk across California, and to support the environmental assessment and scientific functions of FRAP.

Equipment Mechanic/Operator

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is seeking an Equipment Mechanic/Operator who will be responsible for using heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, agricultural tractors, backhoes and rollers. Senior Forester

The Watershed Research and Training Center is seeking a Senior Forester to “provide broad support to various projects within the scope of the Watershed Center’s Forestry and Fuels Program with a focus on planning and administering complex forestry and hazardous fuels reduction projects on public and private lands including prioritization, unit delineation, environmental compliance (NEPA, CEQA, CA Forest Practice Act), layout and implementation support.”
