The OSU Forestry & Natural Resources Extension program invites applications for five full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term Extension Fire Program Regional Specialists in the Forestry & Natural Resources Extension Fire program. These are regional, multi-county positions located throughout Oregon. These positions are designed to focus on Extension program development and delivery related to wildland fire science and management. The position will focus on educational programming to assist private forest and range owners and managers, wildland-urban interface homeowners, communities, and fire and fuel specialists and the fire suppression workforce.
