The BC Wildfire Service and the City of Kelowna are delivering a prescribed fire training exchange September 28-October 9, 2026 with support from UBC Okanagan’s Canadian Prescribed Fire Training Program.
This two and a half day, in-person course provides a foundation for developing and running spatially-explicit wildfire hazard models using the BurnP3+ package for SyncroSim.
The 2025 Canadian Prairie TREX will take place from October 20th to 24th in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
