L-280 Followership to Leadership:  October 27th – 29th

• In person training at the Georgia Forestry Commission Training Center, 5645 Riggins Mill Rd, Dry Branch, GA 31020 

• This course provides a structured self-assessment experience for individuals preparing to take on a leadership role. It blends two days of classroom-based instruction with a third day of field exercises, where students work in small teams to complete a series of problem-solving scenarios as part of the Field Leadership Assessment Course. Required for Single Resource Boss

• Objectives

• Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental leadership principles.

• Evaluate personal traits and motivations for pursuing leadership role.

• Cost: $300 due upon acceptance into the course. Instructions will be provided regarding payment.

• Nominations: Complete the registration form https://forms.gle/gXNbK6DnbcguRMiH7 by September 25th. Acceptance letters will be emailed no later than October 5th
