2026 SAFE Chapter Grants

Grants awarded to 13 safe chapters

A total of $10,000 has been awarded by AFE to 13 SAFE chapters! Funds will directly support training and learning opportunities for SAFE chapters.

The goal of this grant program is to promote equitable access to resources, strengthen local chapters, and support students participating in fire training and activities. In this year’s grant cycle, priority was given to requests directly related to training opportunities, equipment purchases, and student participation in TREX events and other prescribed fire opportunities.
