Earlier this month, the USDA Forest Service implemented a 90-day pause on prescribed fire on national forest land (see statement here).
On behalf of our members, the Association for Fire Ecology has written a letter asking the USFS Chief to reconsider the blanket pause, in hopes that prescribed fire may be allowed to continue where safe. We are asking AFE members who agree with this letter to add their signature using the form below.
