The Selkirk Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (TREX) is a peer-to peer experiential learning based training with field trips, guest speakers, hands-on and live fire training.
CGTREX is a two-week training event intended to 1) build prescribed fire skills & knowledge through experiential training and 2) provide a boost to local capacity to accomplish burns across land ownerships in the Columbia Gorge region.
The 2025 Columbia Gorge TREX will take place from September 21st to October 4th in Trout Lake, Washington.
