Today is #GivingTuesday and the start of AFE's End-of-Year Giving Campaign. There are several ways you can support our organization on this global day of giving.
Make a Donation
If you are in a position to give this year, consider making a tax-deductible donation to AFE. Donations directly support AFE programs, including the Mentoring Futures Porgram, Fire Ecology Chats, conferences and webinars, and more. You can also donate to our endowment fund or to fund scholarships for student projects and travel.
Be a Member (or give the gift of membership!)
By becoming a member and renewing annually, you help sustain AFE programs while joining a global community of wildland fire professionals. We have membership levels starting at $35, an option for automatic renewal, and a growing number of lifetime and contributing members.
You can also give the gift of membership to a colleague this holiday season. Email office@fireecology.net for details.
Spread the Word
Tell your colleagues about AFE, encourage them to become a member, and invite them to the 11th International Fire Ecology Management Congress in New Orleans, Louisiana being held December 2-6, 2025. You can forward this email and share on social media to raise support for AFE on #GivingTuesday and throughout the end of the year.
