California State University, Chico has partnered with CAL FIRE to co-create a prescribed fire research program focusing on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges. The bulk of this program focuses on prescribed fire work occurring on the Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve. This position will act as a the field crew lead during the spring 2025 sampling season.
