Colorado State University is hiring a Post Doc in Natural Resource and Wildfire Management Science.
This individual will plan, conduct, and disseminate results of research related to improved land management decision making, including fuel treatment activities and wildfire suppression actions; this individual will lead and support ongoing research in natural resource and wildfire management and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Required Job Qualifications
A PhD in natural resource economics, forest management, ecology, geography, remote sensing, or another related field by the desired start date with a proven background in analysis of forest management and disturbance ecology.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience in GIS, R, python, spatial statistics, and machine-learning algorithms
Evidence of publishing in refereed journals
