Prescribed Fire Information Coordinator, Audubon Canyon Ranch

Audubon Canyon Ranch, an innovative North Bay conservation science and education organization, is hiring a Prescribed Fire Information Coordinator to join the growing Fire Forward team. This is a full-time, regular position with competitive benefits. Starting pay range is $65,000 to $75,000 per annum. Desired start date is September 25, 2023.

Audubon Canyon Ranch’s Prescribed Fire Information Coordinator is an integral part of a team of highly motivated and committed employees who work closely together and with private landowners, government agencies, other organizations, and the community to bring “good fire” to the landscape in service of ecological health and community safety. Reporting to the Fire Forward Program Director and with a dotted line to the Director of Communications, the position works collaboratively to provide leadership and support in the areas of public outreach and information sharing, specifically: serving as public liaison during planning and implementation of prescribed burn activities, working collaboratively to move monitoring and research projects forward for public consumption, drafting and managing program content for communications, outreach, and education.
