The AAAS S&T Policy Fellowships (STPF) is now accepting applications for the class of 2023-24! Applications will be accepted for the executive, legislative and judicial branches.
STPF provide opportunities to outstanding scientists and engineers to learn first-hand about policymaking while contributing their knowledge and analytical skills to the federal policymaking process. Fellows serve yearlong assignments in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the federal government in Washington.
AAAS seeks candidates from a broad array of backgrounds and a diversity of geographic, disciplinary, gender, and ethnic perspectives as well as disability status. Fellows represent the spectrum of career stages – from recent doctoral graduates to faculty on sabbatical and retired scientists, and sectors – from academia and industry to nonprofit organizations.
