Note that Coleen Haskell, program manager for the Joint Fire Science Program, will be attending and presenting on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting will follow this general schedule:
Monday, Oct 21 | 13:00 - 15:30: Closed AWFCG and committee meetings as scheduled in the afternoon.
Tuesday, Oct 22 | 08:00 - 16:30: Open meetings including 2024 season review and agency updates. Wildfire Walk hosted by AFSC at 1700, weather permitting.
Wednesday, Oct 23 | 08:00 - 17:00: Open meetings include Predictive Services and fire weather research updates in the morning. Potluck lunch on site. AFSC workshop in the afternoon. Social at The Cabin in the evening.
Thursday, Oct 24 | 08:00 - 14:00: Open meetings in the morning include a focus on fuels management and opportunities for changing strategy and tactics. Open meeting adjourns at lunch. Closed AWFCG meeting over lunch.
