The Ember Alliance is currently putting together a Wildland Fire Academy with their partners at Front Range Community College (FRCC) that will take place in April 2026 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The courses are FREE; participants will provide their transportation to and from FRCC. Hotel lodging is being planned for travelers with more details to come.
The course offerings are listed below:
S-131; Firefighter Type 1- Online pre-course work & 1 day in-person (April 20th)
S-211; Portable Pumps and Water Use- 2 days in-person (April 21st & April 22nd)
L-280; Followership to Leadership- Online pre-course work & 2 days in-person (April 23rd & April 24th)
S-215; Fire Operations in the Wildland Urban Interface- 3 days in-person (April 25th, April 26th, & April 27th)
