The Student of Fire Initiative at the University of Idaho is offering 4 workshops this Spring: S-290, M-410, RX-310, and S -215. All courses are administered online through the Wildland Fire Learning Portal. Their online training is robust and engaging, but they recognize that online training is not for everyone. If you do not learn well online, you are encouraged to seek out in-person courses.
For more information, please check out their new website: https://studentoffire.org/ If you want to set up a special session for any of these courses or request the development of other courses, you can reach out to the Student of Fire Initiative at studentoffire@uidaho.edu. EACH class has an associated class for credit at the University of Idaho. Email the Student of Fire Initiative if you are interested in registering for the University of Idaho class and completing some additional work to receive credit.
