Michigan TREX 2026

September 10-19, 2026 at Camp Grayling, Michigan

Practitioners from across the state will gain hands-on experience with prescribed fire, complete tasks in their NWCG position task books, and build connections. This training is best suited for FFT2s seeking practical experience, and trainees in FFT1, ENGB, FIRB and RXB2 positions. Those not using NWCG standards are welcome but all participants must complete the basic NWCG-FFT2 courses prior to the event. Applications are due by May 31.
