The Association for Fire Ecology has issued a statement on Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) to respectfully recognize TEK and the critical importance of cultural data sovereignty.
AFE’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Committee and the AFE Board of Directors also developed a list of helpful articles, books, and resources for learning more about this topic.
