Special Sessions, Workshops, and Fire Circle Discussion Groups
We invite your proposals for organizing sessions and presentations for the 2025 Fire Congress. Proposals will be accepted for special sessions, workshops and trainings, and fire circle discussion groups until May 15th, 2025.
Special Sessions
Special Sessions are opportunities for individuals to organize a set of presentations on a topic of their choosing and can include presentations, panels, discussions, and Q&A. Special Sessions will be held in meeting rooms with theatre-style seating. All special sessions will be presented in-person, as we are not planning for virutal participation at this time.
Workshops, trainings, and courses
Workshops, trainings, and courses are professional development opportunities that provide conference attendees with a forum for learning new information, skills, and best practices.
Fire Circle Discussion Groups
Fire Circles are discussion sessions focused on advancing our understanding of wildland fire topics or issues and provide time for conference attendees to network with others who have similar interests.
