Lifetime Achievement Awards

The 2021 Lifetime Achievement awardees have demonstrated a career's worth of meaningful contributions to expanding our understanding and application of fire ecology, and have inspired and mentored a generation of fire scientists and managers. 

• Harold Biswell Award, presented to Dr. Carol Miller for her significant contribution to fire ecology and management in the western United States

• Herbert Stoddard Award, presented to Margit Bucher for her significant contribution to fire ecology and management in the eastern United States
