The Nature Conservancy in Nebraska is hiring a Niobrara Valley Program Manager to oversee the Niobrara Valley Preserve staff and operations at our 56,000 site north of Johnstown.
This position will supervise our land stewardship and outreach staff and coordinate with our fire program, which is based at the Preserve but focused largely on private land burning. The program manager will form and maintain relationships with neighbors, local communities, and organizations throughout the state and region. They’ll also be in charge of strategic planning for the preserve and coordinating with other staff on conservation strategies throughout Nebraska.
