Six fire management positions open in the Oregon Chapter

These positions will play a critical role in support of our Oregon Dry Forest and Fire Strategy, and in meeting ecological fire objectives on TNC and partner lands. These positions are supported by funding available through a Keystone Agreement with the United States Forest Service focused on workforce development and prescribed fire planning, implementation, and monitoring. Our fire program burns with a wide variety of partners in many different fuel models across the state. We are hoping to find folks who share our passion for bringing good fire to our beautiful landscapes while building lasting partnerships rooted in place.

The positions are:

T hese 5-year term positions will support prescribed fire planning, operations, monitoring, and training opportunities for other non-profit NGOs, Indigenous Peoples and Tribes, local fire departments, and local, state, and federal agencies. The positions will be located in Redmond, Pendleton, and Klamath Falls Oregon.
