Tenure Track Position in Applied Fire Science and Management at Cal Poly Humboldt
Cal Poly Humboldt Department of Forestry, Fire, and Rangeland Management is hiring a new tenure-track faculty member for the Applied Fire Science and Management Program that starts in Fall 2023. A PhD degree with a background in wildland fire science, ecology, management, or policy is required. An emphasis on prescribed fire, cultural fire, or fire-relevant social science is preferred. Instructional assignments may include a subset of the following courses: Fire Weather, Fire Behavior and Effects, Applied Fire Use and Policy, Humans and Fire, CA & US Forest and Wildland Policy, Fire Capstone, and Fire Internship.
