The US Fish and Wildlife Service is hiring Fire Management Specialists for three locations: Fairbanks, AK, Sacramento, CA, and Albuquerque, NM.
The specialists will serve as the Region's program representative; is responsible for coordinating and conferring with a wide variety of other fire and aviation management agencies, regions, states, and other natural resource and emergency management agencies to ensure program continuity and coordination; and ensures that refuge and other Service lands fire and aviation management plans, agreements, and decision criteria between agencies are compatible with Service/Department policy.
