Join SAFE for SAFE Connections January with Dr. Kate Fuller! SAFE Connections January will take place Thursday, January 29 at 1pm PT/4pm ET.
The goal of this webinar series, hosted by the National SAFE Officers, is to provide a space for student and early career professionals to learn from and be inspired by a diversity of leaders in wildfire ecology and management, including academic, management, international, and NGOs.
Kate Fuller is a wildfire modeler at First Street, a public benefit company devoted to the quantification of climate risk at the property level. She has worked in fire ecology and forest dynamics in both the United States and Australia, including research roles at Western Sydney University and the U.S. Forest Service’s Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory. Kate’s background includes fire ecology, plant ecophysiology, and geospatial analysis, and her work focuses on translating ecological processes into models that can support decision-making at landscape to continental scales.
