Research into three iconic wilderness pine ecosystems will be discussed: ponderosa pine, whitebark pine, and lodgepole pine.
The talk is heavy on the findings and light on quantitative results — a 30,000 ft view.
There is roughly 40 years of wilderness research results that will be presented.
