Our 2026 conference will be held at the Fort Collins Marriott on April 15-16, 2026, with pre- and post-conference events.
The 2026 Colorado Wildland Fire Conference will focus on enhancing resilience in fire-prone landscapes and proactive strategies that prevent hazards from escalating into disasters. Attendees will explore practical solutions to support safer, more prepared, and sustainable communities in the face of growing wildfire challenges. The theme of the 2026 conference is Rooted in Resilience.
The Colorado Wildland Fire Conference is geared toward professionals working proactively to improve wildfire outcomes in Colorado communities and landscapes such as Mitigation Specialists, Emergency Managers, Firefighters, Researchers, Foresters, Developers and Policy Makers. Anyone wishing to learn more about how they can reduce their community’s vulnerability to wildfire is welcome to attend.
The Call for Presenters for the 2026 Colorado Wildland Fire Conference is now open, with priority consideration for proposals received by Friday, August 29th. All presentation proposals are due by Friday, October 31st at 11:59 p.m.
