PhD Research Assistant, Public perceptions of Wildfire Crisis Strategy in the Enchanted Circle, NM

We seek a PhD student to be advised in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech University. The candidate who fills this position will have strong interests at the intersection of wildfire management and communications. This project is in collaboration with the US Forest Service Southwest Region. Skills in GIS and/or focus group research preferred. Funding ($24,000-27,000/yr based on qualifications, plus tuition remission) is guaranteed through two years beginning in Fall 2024, with opportunities for additional funding possible.
