M.S. Position, Fire Effects in the Texas Panhandle, Texas Tech University

Opporunity for one graduate student who is interested in using GIS/remote sensing to study patterns of wildfire severity in the 2024 Texas Panhandle Wildfires, including the influences of pre-fire patterns of prescribed burning and other management activities. Full support for one student is available (tuition remission valued at $10,000/yr, plus stipend commensurate with education/experience, $20,000-$25,000/yr).
